Latitude Margaritaville residents are always ready to lend a hand to their neighbors. They come together to support one another when needed and actively contribute to local charitable groups by providing treasure and talents. They serve as volunteers and mentors for local organizations ranging from children’ s causes to breast cancer awareness, food distribution programs and others.

A“ Flip Flop” style celebration was held on February 27, 2025 for the annual Latitude Margaritaville Day of Giving. Residents from all Latitude Margaritaville communities and representatives of local charitable organizations gathered for the distribution of grants from the Latitude Margaritaville Community Foundation. The event was held simultaneously at Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach, Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head and Latitude Margaritaville Watersound.

The Latitude Margaritaville Community Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation established to support and promote charitable endeavors and community initiatives. The Foundation is funded through the collection of a $ 100 fee from each home buyer upon the initial sale of a home and every subsequent resale and transfer of the home. This is matched by Minto Communities. Applications for funds are submitted to the Foundation with a maximum donation of up to $ 5,000 considered for each recipient organization.

According to Latitude Margaritaville Lifestyle Director Ramona Ward,“ Latitude Margaritaville residents are always ready to help others. There is no shortage of generosity whether it’ s dollars, clothing, school supplies or meeting other needs of our neighbors in the greater community.”

At Day of Giving 2025, $ 189,000 was donated to more than 25 charitable groups and projects that work tirelessly to better their communities and provide life enhancing services and experiences that better the quality of life for all.
