Minto Vice President of Hospitality and Lifestyle , Scott Gambone , was on the Town Center expansion team . “ After we got the resident surveys back , we formed the resident advisory group with appointments based on their time and experience in the community . They were provided with the survey and went door to door throughout the community . They came back with awesome ideas and suggestions that we hadn ’ t even thought about . The ideas were so great that we added an additional million dollars over the originally planned expansion budget .
“ It is a unique element for a developer to include resident input so thoroughly in this kind of process , incorporate that input so extensively , and then significantly increase the planned budget to do so . It ’ s very exciting . Residents are getting a ton of additions to an already best-in-class , award-winning amenity center .”
The Town Center expansion plan calls for a second 55,000 gallon outdoor swimming pool ; expanded pool deck at the Paradise Pool ; a poolside food trailer ; new entrance to the existing pool area ; expanded parking ; re-striped existing multipurpose sports court to create an additional pickleball court option and practice wall for tennis and pickleball players . There also will be two new covered gathering areas with barbeque grills and an additional open common space and seating area .
Since the existing Paradise Pool is a party area favorite , the pool deck is being expanded and more seating added . There also will be additional poolside eats and seats with the new Sand Bar food and beverage trailer that will have covered seating , light poolside fare and a full bar . There will be additional restrooms , more tiki-hut style seating with communal tables , and residents will be able to utilize their mobile devices to order deliveries to the pool from the Latitude Bar & Chill .
