“ Every time we came down Highway 79 and watched Latitude Margaritaville Watersound grow , it just got better . It was amazing that we were going to get to be a part of something that was so special to us . It was surreal and every time we came by it was clear that we had made the perfect decision .”
“ When we lived in Birmingham , on trash day some neighbors would look at the ground so they didn ’ t have to speak ,” recalls Tiffany . “ Here , if you don ’ t speak , people check on you thinking something is wrong . Nobody is a stranger . You can be as active or involved or as removed as you want . It ’ s almost like a lazy river vibe . Everyone is so laid-back and easy . There are people from all over the place with different experiences , different backgrounds and everybody comes together perfectly .”
Tiffany is an OR nurse at Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast , and Bob is retired but now enjoys being a Latitude Margaritaville ambassador . Both served in the military . Bob was in the U . S . Air Force for 30 years and Tiffany served in the U . S . Navy eight years .
“ When I take people around , I always tell them that living here is like being on vacation every day but you don ’ t have to go home on Saturday ,” says Bob .
“ Latitude Margaritaville has such an upbeat vibe . There is a really good mix of people who work , don ’ t work or work from home . Some are very social and some not as much but it all fits together to make a perfect puzzle . Your big decision is to decide what nonwork activity you ’ re going to enjoy today . You don ’ t have to spend your time cutting grass and edging anymore because everything is so well maintained for you .”
