“ YOU CAN BE THERE AND ENJOY ALL THE AMENITIES AND ACTIVITIES BUT COME HOME AND IT’ S QUIET.”

-MYRA SMALL

So … the decision was made and they were soon on their way to Latitude Margaritaville Watersound. They closed on their new home in July 2025.“ We are very happy with no regrets about making the move,” says Myra.“ We FaceTime all the time with the family and can get back pretty often. The kids have flown out to see us and we have flown there.”

Their son Brian and his wife Genna have visited twice already with the grandkids, Nathaniel, age nine, and Owen, age four. According to Myra, Nathaniel loves playing all the games at the Latitude games lawn with grandpa and Owen has become a real bocce buff.

“ They all love it here and enjoy seeing the fun we are having,” says Larry.“ The neighbors we know who have grandkids say they love to come visit. It’ s like a vacation spot for them— a free vacation,” laughs Myra.

Myra and Larry chose a lot about a half mile from the Latitude Town Square amenities and like having a little distance from the activities.“ By golf cart, we are no more than eight minutes from the amenities and we just take the golf cart trails,” says Larry.“ You can be there and enjoy all the amenities and activities but come home and it’ s quiet,” Myra adds.
