CBS Sunday Morning correspondent Martha Teichner stepped right into Latitude Margaritaville’ s irresistible, happy vibe. She mixed and mingled with the community’ s friendly residents. She tried out the iconic Jimmy Buffett“ Fins Up” move with a little coaching on style from Margaritaville Chief Marketing Officer Tamara Baldanza-Dekker. Then she headed for the Latitude Bar & Chill and topped off her visit with a frosty, Margaritavilleinspired margarita.

Daytona Beach as the beautiful and fun community it is.“ They did a great job of highlighting the lifestyle and showed all of the great areas of Latitude Margaritaville. It was very natural and not staged at all,” she says.
Yo came to Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach from Colorado Springs four years ago. She had planned to be a snowbird and then go back but then decided there was no reason to return and moved to Latitude Margaritaville year-round. She noted that the CBS Sunday Morning piece was a true depiction of the community.“ My favorite saying is‘ I’ m blessed and highly favored’ and I feel that every day here,” she adds.
