Greg served in the U. S. Army as a communications specialist for worldwide army communications during his time in the service.“ I am proud to have been a part of that. I was recently in Washington, D. C. for the Veterans’ Closure Trip, a yearly trip sponsored by Operation Once in a Lifetime. It was for the young vets who served and continue to serve in the war on terror. We were there to go with them as we all walked around Washington, D. C. and visited Arlington National Cemetery to recognize those who were lost. It was inspiring.”
When asked what his advice to young people would be at this benchmark of America’ s 250th anniversary, he responds,“ My message would be to consider how important our country is and that they can take it forward into the future by serving in the military, as a first responder, a teacher, a nurse …. Tell me anywhere else in the world you would want to live to find the quality of life you have in this country.”
