Just a few of the highlights during the month include Cars and Cocktails with the Motoritaville Cruisers Club, Ladies of Latitude 5k, Pink BINGO, Golf Scrambles and silent auctions. All raise funds that are donated to local charities that work to support those experiencing breast cancer and to help find a cure.
Each year, Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head does the especially popular Breast Cancer Awareness Fashion Show sponsored by Sassy Patty’ s. This event benefits the Mary Telfair Foundation at Candler Hospital. Models are cancer survivors and thrivers. The Latitude Margaritaville Watersound Town Square features Sip & Shop for a Cause with donations going towards local breast cancer education, prevention and early diagnosis. Then there is the Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head League of Their Own Fins Ball Tournament with 16 teams of ladies competing for the title— complete with cheerleaders and umpires wearing pink stripes. To top it all off, long time supporter Karen Mills came back with another Comedy Uncorked to tell her story of surviving ovarian cancer with heart and humor.
