According to Brian Cale , Minto ’ s Vice President of Land Development for Latitude Margaritaville Watersound , “ The new amenities are moving ahead on schedule and we ’ re making good progress . The sports courts should be completed by the end of the month .”

The additional sports courts include three more pickleball courts for a total of 10 , two more tennis courts , for a total of four , and three more bocce courts , for a total of five to accommodate the many sports-loving Latitude Margaritaville residents .
The walls are up and work is progressing full speed ahead on the state-of-the-art Workin ’ N ’ Playin ’ Center complex . It will include a Last Mango Theater , Clayground Pottery Studio , Arts & Crafts Room , Hangar Workshop with fully equipped woodworking shop and a Barkaritaville Pet Spa shaped like a dog house .
The Last Mango Theater will provide the full theater experience . A concession stand will offer popcorn , other movie-time snacks , sodas and selected beverage concoctions . Audiences will experience immersive surround sound and top of the line movies on the theater ’ s large screen . The theater seats 225 or can break down into three soundproofed sections that function independently for functions including live theater , tribute bands , one man shows , stand-up comedy and more .
The first phase of the award-winning amenities opened last June . They include an amphitheater , thatched roof bandshell with full-size concert stage for the community ’ s robust program of live music , jumbo screen for live streaming , and recessed dance floor that provides a little cushion and spring for dancers .
