Latitude Margaritaville is committed to giving back to the greater community . The Latitude Margaritaville Watersound Community Foundation was created just for that reason . At each new home closing , $ 100 will be contributed to the Foundation by the buyer , and Minto will match that contribution dollar for dollar . The first phase of Latitude Margaritaville Watersound is estimated to generate $ 700,000 . Additionally , as the community matures , $ 100 will be contributed by each buyer of a home resale to ensure the Foundation ’ s future viability . The Latitude Margaritaville Watersound Foundation funds will be distributed to organizations and initiatives that benefit the greater community .
