LATITUDE MARGARITAVILLE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION SHARES HOLIDAY CHEER AT THIRD ANNUAL

PRESENTS LOCAL CHARITIES WITH $ 170,000

Latitude Margaritaville residents gathered to spread holiday cheer , friendship and support with local charities at their annual Day of Giving events in December . However , the desire to help their greater communities by donating time , talents and treasure is a part of life year ‘ round for those who have chosen to make Latitude Margaritaville home .

Always at the ready to help their neighbors , Latitude Margaritaville residents not only provide financial support for area charitable groups . They also provide their skills as volunteers and mentors for local organizations ranging from children ’ s causes to Breast Cancer Awareness , food distribution programs and others .

In December 2022 , Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach and Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head again delivered some very special presents to local charitable groups .

Festive gatherings at each community included great food from the Latitude Bar & Chill and presentation of $ 5,000 checks from the Latitude Margaritaville Community Foundation to each of 34 area not-for-profit organizations for a total donation of $ 170,000 . Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach residents topped off their Day of Giving with a cookie exchange that featured the best of the best of resident baked goods .

Residents also got to learn about the many great charities that work so hard to serve the community at Day of Giving . Each charity is given the opportunity to make a presentation on the work they do that is projected on the Latitude Town Square ’ s jumbo screens . As the Latitude Margaritaville communities grow , so grows the Day of Giving . The newest of the communities , Latitude Margaritaville Watersound , will participate in Day of Giving next year .
