MEET DR . BONNIE SHELTON WHO IS SHARING HER MESSAGE AND KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD HEALTH AND LIVING WELL , AT LATITUDE MARGARITAVILLE HILTON HEAD . there ' s a Doctor in the house ! LATITUDE MARGARITAVILLE HILTON HEAD WELCOMES BONNIE SHELTON , MD
With a mission to share her knowledge about medicine and brain health in a way that inspires others to consider changes in their lifestyle choices , Dr . Bonnie Shelton , ( she prefers to be called Bonnie ) made a lifestyle choice and it was to move to Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head .
A physician , writer , blogger and health educator , Bonnie continues to pursue her mission to help others aspire to good health and started a group called Living Well in Latitude that was very well received . She now does smaller events at her home . “ If I see an interesting topic , I ’ ll get speakers from Osher Lifelong Learning from the University of South Carolina , Bluffton . “ They have all kinds of interesting speakers .”
Since Latitude Fitness Manager Erin Marinaro arrived , Bonnie has enjoyed participating in educational programs with Erin and especially enjoys programs on nutrition , Alzheimer ’ s and orthopedics . “ Erin has been amazing ,” says Bonnie . “ She and I also talk about some alternative programs like Reiki and Sound Meditation . I like whatever works ,” she adds .
In addition to sharing her mission in a variety of ways with her neighbors and her website and blog followers , Bonnie is thoroughly enjoying life at Latitude Margaritaville . She and her Shih Tzu Charlotte first experienced Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head at a Change in Latitude Getaway , staying in one of the models that accommodates guest pups . “ I was familiar with the community already because my friends Scott and Sheree Greenfield live here and had been talking about ‘ Maybe one day we ’ ll all live in Margaritaville .’” Bonnie liked the beachy coastal look of Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head and the home floor plans .
Then , she was driving across the country with Charlotte in a camper van and was able to get a reservation at Thanksgiving time . “ Just driving into the community , pretty much everybody waves at you .
