“ We chose a home farther away from the amenity center and consider our golf cart ride one of the best things about it,” says Laura.“ We ride out into the sunset and it’ s absolutely beautiful. We love the serenity of our home here. We have a preserve lot and you can hear the wind whistling through the trees and view the sunset. It is so soothing.”
The couple moved to Latitude Margaritaville Watersound from Lexington, Kentucky where they owned a home.
“ We came down here and fell in love with this. Dean and I stayed three nights here, ate lunch at the Bar & Chill, met the staff and talked to neighbors.”
“ We didn’ t know if our house would sell well but we were prepared either way. Minto even offered to delay closing for us if it didn’ t sell in time but we didn’ t have to exercise that,” recalls Laura.“ I contacted Michelle Gonzalez-Avila from Acrisure Mortgage and we got a builder incentive and they covered the cost to refinance. I said I want to prequalify us so that we can afford to sit on our house in Lexington if we don’ t sell right away.”
