“ We sold the condo and moved to Latitude Margaritaville , and we have not regretted it for an instant ,” says Shelia . They moved in last October but kept their home in Georgia and traveled back and forth . “ Every time we packed up to go back to Georgia , we were like , “ why are we doing that ?” she recalls .
So the Ladwigs recently decided to become year ‘ rounders in their new community and are selling their Atlanta home . They also are bringing a few Georgia peaches to Latitude Margaritaville with them ! Two couples who are close friends also bought homes at Latitude Margaritaville Watersound . One has already moved in and the second is on the way .
With the easy six hour drive from Georgia , family members visit often and stay longer since Shelia and Randy moved to Latitude Margaritaville . “ They used to visit for a few hours . Now it ’ s for three or four days ,” laughs Randy .
When asked about their favorite aspects of Latitude Margaritaville , Randy responds quickly . “ The people number one . We ’ re all like-minded . We come from the same point in life and we ’ re all , give or take a few years , about the same age .”
