Retired flight attendant Liz McBride decided to check out Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach while visiting a friend in Dania Beach . When she saw the community , she recalls commenting , “ It ’ s gorgeous and the people are so friendly . That ’ s the way I want to live the rest of my life !”

Liz indeed is having fun . Her low-maintenance cottage frees up plenty of time to play . “ I can do anything , from yoga in the morning , to listening to live music at the Paradise Pool . The entertainment at the Last Mango Theater is great . We just had a Van Morrison tribute band and it was fabulous .” She also enjoys taking the community shuttle to the Latitude Beach Club . “ It ’ s like being at a resort . It can ’ t get any better . Everybody is so happy here . It ’ s paradise !”
She selected the Bamboo , the smallest of the Conch Cottages collection . “ I love my Bamboo cottage . I live in the smallest house in Latitude Margaritaville , but it ’ s perfect for me . Friends comment that it doesn ’ t look that small .” She attributes this to the open floor plan design , high ceilings and many windows that bring in natural light .
“ I love its open concept ,” she notes . “ I want everything in one room so I can see people and talk with them . I love my porch . I have my coffee there in the morning and neighbors come by and wave .” Liz enjoys baking and cooking for friends and says the kitchen functions perfectly . She particularly likes the kitchen ’ s oversized serving and seating island . “ When people come over , they sit around the island . It ’ s my dream house . It may
