In June 2019 , the Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach Town Center opened at a festive Margaritaville-style public grand opening that included two live bands , dancing in the Town Square , Margaritaville-inspired food and more .

In January 2021 , the Latitude Margaritaville Beach Club opened , the only 55-and-better community in Florida with its own private Beach Club on the Atlantic Ocean . Residents and their guests enjoy its large open-air pavilion with shaded seating , tiki bar for special events , restrooms and changing facilities . The pavilion , resort-style pool , tiki cabana and lounge areas all have direct access to the beach .

Also in January 2021 , Minto acquired an additional 260-acre property east of the existing community , expanding the wildly popular development by another 500 homes to accommodate the record-breaking demand for homes at Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach .

Fast forward to 2024 . Having grown another 500 homes , the Latitude Margaritaville Town Center is being expanded by Minto to provide additional amenities and gathering spaces ... and those new amenities are opening this summer !
