They saw it and their decision was made— Latitude Margaritaville Watersound was going to be the location of their new home. They set about building a Trinidad Bay single-family home located on the community’ s Jollymon Way. Steve and Tina have been through the home building process a number of times and have learned a lot about cost and value comparisons according to Steve.“ Dollar for dollar, there is no question about the value delivered in a Minto home,” he notes.

“ We lived in a home that had almost the same footprint as our Minto Trinidad Bay home but it was about $ 140,000 more. It didn’ t have a pool or even come close to the professionalism and quality that Minto has given us.”

When their sales professional mentioned that Minto had a plan to build the Vista Collection, luxury two-story homes on the Intracoastal, they

were definitely interested. After reviewing some early floorplans, they decided that they simply had to have a Vista home on the water, choosing the Wayfarer model.

As a former real estate appraiser for 16 years, Tina had several suggestions related to the floorplans and says she learned firsthand that Minto listens to suggestions made by its homeowners.“ Minto has been fabulous,” she notes.“ I was especially concerned about the stairs in the Vistas as I was about to have knee surgery. I pointed out that the most important thing was to have an elevator. If this is your last home, you need to be able to navigate the home.” Minto agreed and thankfully all Vista two-story homes have elevators.
