The Easterlys met a
lot of new friends during that special
weekend at Latitude Margaritaville Daytona
Beach. “Every night, we had dinner with
five to 10 community residents,”
said Kat.
The couple decided it was meant
to be and signed a contract for a
new home before they even left.
In fact, Kat and Coleman loved
their new community so much that
they decided to rent a home while they
waited for construction to be completed
on their new one.

Their big day finally came on Monday, July 13, 2020
when they closed on their very own Aruba singlefamily
home.
To commemorate this new milestone, they hosted
a special ceremony with their new friends and
scattered that red Virginia clay from their first home
on their new front yard.
“We have so much fun,” says Coleman. “The people
here are fun loving, positive and social. Even
during this very tough time, everyone is
so positive it makes it better. People
set out in their driveways to see
their neighbors. I rode my bike to
the pool, and it felt like when I was
a kid riding my bike to the pool.
It feels like we’re healthier here.”
Kat agrees completely—"It’s a
very relaxing lifestyle. It’s like old
time living.”
