Debbie Waldie and Terry Walsh say any worries about retirement and how to keep busy is a thing of the past since moving to Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head . The Michigan natives were so over the cold , snowy winters and ready to trade the chill for milder temperatures , fun community activities , new friends and travel .

According to Debbie , one of Terry ’ s employees was moving to Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach and told them a Latitude Margaritaville was being built in the Hilton Head area and they should take a look . So she and Terry decided to check out the area .

Terry says they first visited Sun City and several other developments in the area . “ Sun City was not for us ,” he notes . “ Our realtor took us to all these other places then last to Latitude Margaritaville . He said he could tell right away that this was where we wanted to be .”

Debbie laughingly recalls , “ We must have gone through the ( Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head ) models 40 or 50 times and finally decided the Breeze model was definitely the one .” At first the couple was nervous about building a house in South Carolina while they were still living in Michigan but their worries soon went away . “ Everybody was so nice ,” says Debbie . “ They sent us updates and it went like clockwork . Everyone from our building supervisor to every single person involved in the process communicated with us frequently and they sent pictures . The communication was wonderful !”
