“ After our very first visit , we called our children and said , ‘ It ’ s like living on a cruise ship ,’ and they said , ‘ Well , you ’ ll be living there !’” laughs Jayne Ann Robbins . Jayne Ann and her husband Bob planned to select a single-family home but decided on a Dreamsicle Conch Cottage instead after seeing the model .

“ When Jayne Ann was growing up she always had this vision of living in a cottage with a white picket fence like on Petticoat Junction ,” says Bob . “ With the Dreamsicle , the only thing missing was the white picket fence . When we walked in , I could tell it was what she had dreamed about since childhood . It also made us feel like we were in that beach cottage we always wanted .”
